It is important to look after your lawn during the winter months ahead.
When the frost arrives try not to walk on the lawn as this will damage the sward.
Only mow the lawn if necessary, this will depend on the weather conditions and temperatures at the time. Do not mow if heavy frosts are expected or if the ground is very wet and certainly do not mow the lawn too short.
Any remaining leaves or fruit on the lawn should be cleared to give it the opportunity to dry out reducing the risk of fungal problems.
